CTC Software moves to Croydon Business Park

9th Jan 2017

(From Croydon Citizen's Gazette)

Twenty six years ago two actuaries and a computer science graduate set up the Chambers Townsend Consultancy known as CTC Software. Croydon has been their office base for all that time – firstly Centrillion Point and then Leon House both in the restaurant quarter. Leon House is about to be redeveloped as a high rise residential property so new business premises were needed by CTC Software.

Having seen great success being based in Croydon and the 32 CTC loyal staff living in the local area liked the good cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and easy travel, they wanted to remain in Croydon. It was an easy choice: CTC Software has now taken up permanent residence in Bedford Park near to East Croydon station and the new exciting BoxPark. Also in the vicinity is Croydon Tech City which is home to over a thousand digital, tech and creative startups and is recorded to be London's fastest growing tech startup area.  CTC Software is the opposite of a start up.  It’s one of the leading companies in the UK in its area of specialism, financial services software and continues to drive innovation in UK financial services.

The move to Bedford Park includes the building of a new data centre for CTC’s financial services clients servicing millions of consumers. When asked about the move CTC Commercial Director Philip Hodges says “Croydon has a growing vibrant technology community. From a business point of view it’s great to be in the centre of East Croydon with all the buzz and regeneration. It’s like a match made in heaven, CTC Software is proud to ‘share’ its name with Croydon Tech City (CTC), the organisation which marks Croydon out as a centre for technology innovation.”
